We assist riders of all skill levels in optimizing their suspension to maximize their bike's performance. This process involves determining the proper spring rate, adjusting rebound and compression settings, and evaluating bottom-out resistance for enhanced ride quality.

We are based out of North Vancouver so typically aim to run sessions on Fromme, Seymour and Cypress. During the operational season Grouse bikepark will also be an option . If you have other locations in mind that you’d like to do some testing on please get in touch and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Having your suspension set up correctly can transform the way your bike feels and handles. Your suspension should give you the support you need for stability, while providing enough sensitivity to maintain traction in rough terrain. Achieving this balance is essential for optimal performance, whether you're navigating technical trails or cruising flowy turns.
Rebound settings are critical. If set too fast, the fork may buck the rider. If set too slow, it will pack down under repeated hits, feeling harsh. Excessive compression damping results in a stiff feel and increased force transfer to the rider, potentially contributing to arm pump. Conversely, insufficient damping lacks the support needed for consistent control.
We will help you understand the changes that are being made and the impact they will have, empowering you to make adjustments for changing conditions and terrain in the future.

The system we use is universal so can be applied to any suspension products for both air and coil systems. This includes Fox, Rockshox, Ohlins, Manitou, Marzocchi, EXT, DVO, Cane Creek, Formula, Intend, MRP, SR Suntour. We have a range of mounting options for different bikes and are able to fabricate custom mounts if they are required.

We will meet at the trail head. The equipment will be set up on to your bike, this can take about 10minutes. We will take a baseline recording of your settings; air pressure, rebound, compression etc. during set up. This is also a good time to talk through what you’re looking for in terms of feel:
Is stability your priority or do you want the bike to feel more lively?
Are there any common problems you feel like being bucked, or suffering excessive arm pump?
This can help us target the set up that best works for you.
Then we head to the trail and record a run, this could be an entire trail or sections of a trail. We’ll be happy to come out for the lap so that we can get feedback in real time.
The data is downloaded and combined with your input to make an initial assessment. Typically we will start by making sure the dynamic sag is set correctly and that the spring rate between the fork and shock are balanced. This can take a couple of runs and is the primary aim of the Essential package. We will talk you through the data and explain what changes are being made and why.
The process can then be repeated to further refine the set up, this includes adjustments to rebound, compression and bottom out resistance and is the additional set up that is captured in our Tune package.
We are more than happy to answer questions throughout the session and if there’s any follow ups you can drop us an e-mail and we’ll do our best to help. A summary report of the set up will be provided, which will detail the changes made and the baseline settings.
